At SALTOS, your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it when you use our platform at saltos.io.

What we collect

When you sign up as a worker or contact us as an employer, we collect:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number (if provided)
• Your company name and team size, if you're an employer
• Learning progress data (lessons completed, streaks, quiz results)

We do not collect payment information, government IDs, or any sensitive personal documents.

How we use your information

We use your information only to:

• Provide and improve the SALTOS learning experience
• Track your progress through the program
• Send you updates related to your enrollment
• Respond to employer inquiries about the platform
• Generate anonymized, aggregate workforce readiness reports for employers

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for commercial or advertising purposes.

Worker data and employer visibility

Employers using SALTOS can see aggregate team readiness data — such as how many workers have completed certain lessons or are progressing toward a goal. Individual worker names and personal details are never shared with employers without the worker's knowledge. Performance data is shown at the cohort level, not the individual level, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Where we store your data

Your information is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore), a cloud platform that meets modern security and compliance standards. You can review Firebase's privacy practices at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to the information we hold about you
• Ask us to delete your data at any time
• Opt out of communications from us
• Request a copy of your learning data

Cookies and local storage

Our platform uses browser local storage to remember your progress, preferences, and session state. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising pixels.

Children

SALTOS is designed for adult workers. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18.

If we make significant changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. We recommend reviewing it periodically.
